Year 5 rounded off their topic on Islam this week by paying a visit to Exeter Mosque.
Highlights included visiting the prayer hall and hearing the imam singing some of the Qur’an, the Muslim holy book, to us. We were very impressed to hear that he had memorized the whole of the Qur’an (6236 verses) by the age of 11!
