At Exeter Cathedral School we accept the Universal 15 hours EYE (Early Years Entitlement) for eligible pupils for core Nursery sessions (only). EYE covers hours attended for the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage; it does not cover the cost of consumable items or additional specialist provision. These additional provisions are charged as an additional fee per session (contained within the published ECS Nursery fees). These are applicable to all our Nursery children, and a breakdown is available via the link above.

Parents & guardians will receive termly fee invoices for fees due, less any Early Years’ entitlement.

From Reception, all places at the School are offered as, and charged as, full-time places.

In our Nursery, we participate in the Government’s Early Years’ Funding Scheme (Nursery vouchers) which entitles parents to a maximum of 15 free hours per week.

Childcare Vouchers are accepted and can be used to pay for Nursery Tuition whilst children are still eligible for the Early Years Funding, and for Wrap Around Care and Holiday Clubs for all children.

The Termly Fees include: Personal Accident Insurance, lunches and wrap-around care (08h00 – 17h00).

There is a 10% reduction on the termly tuition fee for younger siblings whilst two or more children are at the School. There is a 10% reduction on the tuition fee for children of serving regular personnel (serving members of the regular Armed Forces).

Choristers receive a 25% discount on tuition fees from the Dean and Chapter.

Flexi Boarding (less than 6 nights a week) is charged separately, in arrears, on fee accounts.

Fees are charged per term and are payable in advance on or before the due date shown on the invoice. Fees can be paid by BACS or monthly instalments.
