On Monday 4 June, parents, guardians and staff were invited to attend the much-anticipated Open Studio of the Exeter Cathedral School Art & Design Department.
It was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to view the school’s Scholarship Portfolios, explore the department and see a whole host of artwork on display, all created by our talented, in-house creatives.
Our Open Studios have become for many a chance to relax and unwind whilst enjoying beautiful artwork in a peaceful environment.
“It is always great to welcome parents to our Open Studio event and wonderful for children to enjoy sharing their art portfolios with such pride. These happen regularly throughout the year and are an opportunity to see the visual art journey on which each ECS pupil is lucky to travel.
We also have Scholarship and Enrichment displays for any families considering taking that path and who would like to discuss this with our Head of Art and our current art scholars in Year 8.
