Online Safety School Wellbeing Event

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for completing the Wellbeing Survey that went out via the Portal earlier this term. It has been enormously helpful to get an idea of the events you would like to see us run and when they would be best received.

I am very pleased to confirm that our next Whole School Wellbeing Event will be held on:

Wednesday 9th January in Kalendar Hall from 4.30-6.00pm.

We are delighted to welcome Paul Stevens who will be running the session on Internet Safety. He has been working with schools for the last 20 years on various PSHE related topics. He will be performing his Virtual Reality play about how certain social media and video games will affect young minds and impact on school and home life. After his performance, there will be time for questions from the audience.

The performance is suitable for all parents and guardians, however, only pupils in Years 5-8 are encouraged to attend as some of the content is not appropriate.

If you have a child below Year 5 and wish to attend, you will be able to book them into our After-School Care services in the normal way. Please email: [email protected] (Prep) or [email protected] (Pre-Prep).

We would be grateful if you could indicate your attendance using the Portal, within ‘Book Activities’. The event should show on Wednesday within Week 1 of the Lent term.

Best wishes,

Andy Bartlett
