What a fantastic day we had, learning about different cultures around the world.
Highlights included:
- Mizuki & Keigo for a Japanese cultural immersion: learning traditional clothing, chopstick skills and enjoying favourite songs
- Benny for introducing us to “Capoeira,” Brazil’s unique martial art, and Hugh for recommending a thrilling Brazilian adventure book
- Daliia, who shared her homeland’s rich culture with us
- Edith, who brought in a book and spent the day drawing beautiful flags from across the globe
- Juno, who taught 3K a lively Kenyan song!
