Reception children have been engaging in a variety of mathematical and creative activities over the last few weeks. Here are a few highlights:
Several children have been running their own shop – selling drinks and plants to passing customers and then counting up their money. Measuring size and volume has also been a key theme, with children ordering their toys from largest to smallest and measuring height.
Children have also been writing and creating interesting characters using found materials – such as this excellent frog and very large Yoda!
