Connie was busy this half term preparing her pony “Sunny” for the new season of competitions. The work which is put in at home is especially important with a young pony in order to prepare them for competing in a busy and exciting setting. Exposure to many different types of fences is also worthwhile. Connie and Sunny went to Bicton College where she came 1st in a Clear Round Show jumping competition at 70 cms. The first part of the course consisted of eight jumps; those who went clear could then complete a course of a further eight.
