I am delighted to announce that the finalists have been selected for our Declamations Finals Evening – Kalendar Hall on Friday 29th November from 7pm. All parents of finalists have been notified directly via our Parent Portal.
All parents are invited to watch the children perform, but we would particularly encourage the parents of the finalists to attend. The evening will commence at 7pm and finish at 9pm. There will be a short interval between the Lower Years and Upper Years performances.
If parents of Lower School would like to take their children home after the interval that is absolutely fine. I will ask for the winner and the two runners up to be announced, then you can leave before the second half commences, if you would like to. There will be two winners: one in the Lower Years category and one in the Upper Years category and two runners up in each category.
This year the competition will be judged by once again by Sally Sedgman, great friend to the School and celebrated raconteuse, and Rosalind Williams – Principal of Cygnet Theatre.
