In Year 1, we have been learning about castles. Our challenge has been to make models of castles in all our provision areas.
We have also been doing some Mathemagical Maths in a Mathemagical Castle. We had to work out how many people worked in the castle and how many animals were kept in the castle.
We have written stories about the GIANT who lived in the castle and then we couldn’t believe it when the GIANT wrote to us! He wanted our help finding his special things that had been stolen.
We are still busy learning about castles and will be going on our visit soon to Powderham castle – look out for our photographs in a few weeks.
