Boarder of the Week: Every week it proves to be quite a challenge deciding on our Star Boarder of the Week, as all of our boarders are so lovely and well behaved. Some children would deserve to be Star Boarder every single week or maybe I should have a Star Boarder of the Term or even the Year!

However, we always try to reward someone who has gone above and beyond for the good of the community. This week, even though he only boards twice a week, Felix W is our Boarder of Week. He has been wonderful in the boarding house, bringing joy to everyone and being a good role model for the other children. He has also kept his dorm tidy and worked hard on his prep. Well done Felix.

Next week is the last week of term already, and I feel like I have been here forever. The Christmas tree is up in the Boarding House and Secret Santa presents are starting to appear under it. On Monday evening the boarders will enjoy a festive buffet prepared by our wonderful catering team. We will then start exchanging Secret Santa presents. On Wednesday, we are taking 35 children to the Corn Exchange in Exeter to enjoy Aladdin the pantomime. This will be followed by a sleepover for everyone. We are all looking forward to it. On Thursday, it will be our Christmas supper in the boarding house.

Please note that on the last Friday of term the School as well as the boarding house will be closing at 12.30pm. Unlike during last half term, Eyre House will not be occupied during the holiday so your children are more than welcome to leave their belongings in their dorms. However, if you want them to pack and bring essentials home, please be aware that you will need to come and collect their bags before 12.30pm on Friday 14th December.
