Boarding House News

Star Boarder Of The Week this week is Phoebe G. She usually only boards one night a week and is always fantastic but this last week she also boarded at the weekend and Miss Rhodes was especially pleased with her. I was also delighted with her reading of the French book “Le Petit Prince.” Phoebe is a pleasure to have with us in the Boarding House as she brings happiness to the boarding community. Well done Phoebe.

Last weekend, the girls were on duty and Miss Rhodes organised a Mocktail Night. The girls really enjoyed themselves as you can see on the photos.

Last Monday was the official opening of the new Games Room in the Boarding House. All the boarders are extremely happy and grateful. Here are some photos of them playing pool and table tennis. Thank you again FECS for your help with this.

On Thursday, ECS was celebrating World Book Day and the boarders dressed up for the occasion. Also, on Wednesday evening, they played a World Book Day Quiz which the girls won. Well done girls!

On Wednesday 27th March the Boarding House is having a special supper event run by Palmer and Howells. For this special evening, the chef and catering team are going to offer the boarders a sushi night. There will also be a presentation to show our boarders how to make sushi.
If you would like your child to board on Wednesday evening and therefore enjoy this wonderful meal, please book by Wednesday 20th March by contacting: [email protected]
