This week, ECS was graced with a visit from BBC Radio Devon!
The BBC’s roaming reporter, Richard, visited ECS early on Tuesday morning in time for a live broadcast at 7.50am. Mr Featherstone and Jack A (Year 8 Senior Chorister) were on stand-by to answer questions about the School’s musical heritage and its connection to Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin.
With the recent discovery of an early Chris Martin recording – made at a School concert in 1989 – ECS was once again in the spotlight. Mr Featherstone and Jack did an excellent job in responding to Richard’s questions, and Jack also provided a superb vocal intro and outro for the radio slot.
