Many congratulations to our Year 8 musicians who performed in an intimate recital on Tuesday evening.
In front of friends and family, Jack A, Elliot H, Natalie P and Maddie R (we were sad that Thomas C, Daniel D and Alice H-M had to miss out due to illness) performed the pieces that they had played/sung at their recent music scholarship auditions to their chosen senior schools.
The evening was a celebration of their hard work and dedication in preparing for their auditions, and a wonderful opportunity for their families to come together to hear them perform their solos in Kalendar Hall. We were treated to a range of styles, instruments and composers from our senior musicians, each of whom performed with sensitivity and panache, and commanded their (delighted) audience.
