Year 4’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Year 4 delighted their audience with an excellent rendition of Shakespeare’s classic comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Children performed their roles with gusto and should be commended for their stage presence and direction. The costumes looked fantastic and scenes were aided by the wonderful set pieces produced by the Art Department.

Ellie May, Year 5, has kindly reviewed the production for us:

I really liked this play because the Year 4s have worked really hard and it seems so real when they are acting!

Everyone really suited their parts and did them extremely well! My favourite part was when Puck gave Demetrius the potion when he was meant to give it to Lysander!

It must have been really hard to put a Shakespeare play on so well done to Mrs Bewley, Mrs Butler-Evans, Mr Q-B and also Mrs Reavill for all the art on stage!
