1 December 2025 – 4 January 2026
We are delighted to share that a selection of Exeter Cathedral School pupils have contributed to the Winter Community Exhibition at Exeter Cathedral.
Their collaborative art installation, entitled Fragile, explores the theme of “Gratitude & Being Thankful.” Pupils sought to capture the beauty of our oceans and express appreciation for sea life and its many inhabitants. At the same time, the piece highlights the vulnerability of the marine world through delicate paper sculptures. Displayed on upcycled fishing net and sailcloth, the installation is a striking reminder of both the wonder and fragility of our seas.
This work sits proudly alongside other brilliant artworks from the local community, making the exhibition a vibrant celebration of creativity and collaboration.
Earlier this term, Year 5 pupils also took part in a Gothic and Gargoyle workshop. Their imaginative creations are now on display within the exhibition, adding further richness and variety to the showcase.
We are incredibly proud of our pupils’ artistry, thoughtfulness, and contribution to this inspiring community event.
