4B went back in time last week to write in the form of a diary, imagining they were actually there on that special day in May 1945.
They did an excellent job working from home, and were also able to represent the fact that many people had feelings of sadness mixed in the joy, having lost so much and so many too.
During the week we also learned about the day through primary and secondary historical sources, enjoyed some VE Day Maths and made some celebratory bunting!
