Time flies when you’re having fun in the Boarding House

We are already at the end of Week 4 this term – time flies when you are having fun – and the Boarding House staff had to vote for the boarder who has impressed them the most during this past week. In order to receive votes, boarders have to show kindness, hard work and outstanding behaviour throughout the week.

This week has been a tough one as all our boarders are very keen to do well. Antoine CM (Year 5) came close second but, for the second time already this term, it is Margot CM (Year 6) who is Star Boarder of the Week. As I told all the boarders on Friday morning when we all gather in the hub for grace before breakfast, Margot has set the bar extremely high by being absolutely amazing all week. For instance, on Tuesday, a new ECS Year 4 pupil boarded for the first time and Margot took her role of mentor very seriously, showing who is now our youngest boarder around the Boarding House and making sure she was happy. Very big well done Margot! Margot is the one to beat! Good luck everyone.

It’s been another busy week for our boarders and choristers this week. When they were not busy singing or doing prep, our boarders have enjoyed the last warm Indian summer evenings playing a variety of games on the playground.

Choristers duties and music lessons have now resumed and our boarders have been working really hard on their music practice, both in the morning before School and in the evening before bed.

A huge well done to all our lovely boarders 😊

The Boarding Team wishes all of you a well deserved rest at the weekend.
