Despite the cool and overcast weather, the 2019 Senior Sport Day began with great zeal!
Across Exeter Arena, pupils were committed to their events – all striving to achieve, that much sought-after, House victory. Pupils competed in a range of events: Long Jump, Triple Jump, High Jump, Shot Put and Ball Throw. The athletics track was equally heated with the Relay (pupils and staff), Hurdles, 75m, 100m, 200m and 800m.
This year’s event saw two records broken. Well done to Felix W for achieving 12.6 seconds in the Open Boys 70 m Hurdle and to Isabella P-J for a new record (9.74m) in the Open Girls shot put.
After an exhausting day, winners were announced by Mr Featherstone. Behold, the champions of 2019:
