One Generous Wheelbarrow

Do you need some inspiring ideas for the weekend? Maybe you should try fundraising for a local charity – just like some of our senior girls.

The girls: Millie, Hettie, Anna B, Rosalila, Anna E (Year 6s) and Natalie (Year 8) decided that they wanted to fund raise for the British Hen Welfare Trust and the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.

To raise money, the girls baked cakes and collected items to sell including clothes and toys. After pulling together their resources, the girls then loaded up a wheelbarrow and proceeded to sell their goods around the village of Woodbury.

Overall, £96 was raised the selected charities. Well done to the girls for their entrepreneurial and generous mindset!
