House Music Competition

Parents and pupils were treated to a spectacular House Music Competition on Friday 28th June.

Held against the backdrop of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, the School’s Houses: Bronescombe, Quivil, Stapledon and Grandission, mustered their best musicians and singers – all in the hope of securing prestigious cups and trophies!

Pupils performed an array of music pieces in support of their School House, alongside their own rendition of Queen’s classic song, We Are the Champions. To adjudicate the event, Mr Andrew Trewhalla, Director of Music at Wellington School, was on hand.

The quality of pupil performances was outstanding – a perfect reminder that we have some incredibly talented musicians in our midst!

Well done to the following Houses on securing:

House Cup: Grandisson (for overall performance)

House Choir Cup: Quivil

Ensemble Cup: Stapledon

Senior Solo Cup: Hector K from Quivil
