A very Happy New Year from us all in Hall House! 2019 has got off to a great start and the classrooms are once again buzzing with the excitement of learning.

This term the nursery children are looking forward to learning about different forms of transport on the road, on the sea, at the building site, along the rails and in the air. They will be imagining where they would like to travel and how they would like to get there.

Reception Frogs and Ladybirds are going back in time to the Jurassic age and have already completed a mission to find escaped dinosaurs in the Hall House garden. They will be finding out about their habitats and their special features and are looking forward to a trip to Dinosaur World in Torquay as well as the infamous dinosaur dress-up day!

Year 1 will be having a historical focus to their learning with ‘Castles’ as their overarching theme. A Medieval day and a trip to Powderham Castle are just two of the things that they will be looking forward to.

Year 2 are heading for the stormy seas this term and will be visiting Brixham to find out what life on board a pirate ship was really like. Keep a look-out for scoundrel pirates taking over Hall House for a day in February!
