FECS Letter 6th April

Happy Easter from the FECS team!

Hall House has been a hive of excitement this morning with the annual Easter Egg Hunt hosted by FECS and the Easter bunny volunteers. All the children took part in the Easter egg hunt which was organised by class and thoroughly enjoyed by all!

FECS are also pleased to announce that the Hall House ‘Read & Listen’ managed to raise a phenomenal £1500 worth of books to be bought for the recently refurbished library.  This was as a result of the sponsorship and commission raised through the book sales.  I’m sure you will all agree this will be a great boost to the library’s current collection.

We have a busy term ahead of us after we return from our Easter break as we have the Summer Fete on 15th June as well as the Annual Auction on the 17th of May.  We are excited to announce that this year the auction will be accompanied by an art exhibition which will be a celebration of collaborative work by all pupils in the school and some local artists, so please save these dates in your diary.  It is aimed at being a social event for adults with refreshments and food also being provided.  Also if you know of any local artists that you think may want to exhibit any pieces then please do get in touch with us at [email protected]
