FECS Letter 16th November

So it’s the day before the Christmas Fayre, and everyone has been busy preparing for the big event tomorrow.  We’ve had some wonderful donations to sort through today, so thank you to everyone.  You can still bring in cakes tomorrow to sell, and if you haven’t brought back your raffle ticket money and stubs then these can also be brought in as well.

The Christmas Fayre will open at midday, and we will be gathering at 1pm in the playground to sing some carols and provide you with an opportunity to see the Chantry playground improvements to date.  The raffle will be drawn at 3.30pm and the Christmas Fayre will then draw to a close at 4pm.

There are still a few volunteering slots that need filling tomorrow so please sign up if you are able to.

Below are the timings of the Christmas Fayre:

12:00pm – Christmas Fayre opens

1pm – opening of the Chantry Playground improvements and carol singing

3.30pm – Grand Raffle

4pm – Christmas Fayre closes.

Junior school movie night

This was a huge hit with the children with over 40 attending.  The movie choice ‘How to Train a Dragon’ generated many smiling faces.  Thank you to all the parent and staff volunteers that helped to make this such a huge success.

Upcoming dates:

Christmas Fayre – 17th November The Chantry

Junior Christmas disco – Saturday 1st December 4.30-6.30pm

Senior Christmas disco – Saturday 1st December 7-9pm

Best wishes,

Cleofe (Chair) & The FECS team.
