Exploring RHS Rosemoor

Y2 visited RHS Garden, Rosemoor in Torrington on Friday 7th June.

We had a fabulous time learning all about how plants grow. It started with a really interesting teaching session in the morning, during which some children were chosen to dress up as seeds and flowers to act out the lifecycle of plants. We had the chance to use magnifying glasses to look closely at the different parts of flowers in the garden. Then we explored the main garden, looking for special features on a photo trail. Of course, we visited The Brash (play area) to finish off a fantastic visit.

Thank you to Mr Taylor, Mrs Bardell and Mrs Sefton who gave up their day to come along with us. We all had a great day.
