ECS Have Hockey Success!

ECS now have quite a lot of girls and boys who attend ISCA hockey club and this weekend saw the county championship for the U12 girls and boys.

Bella, Olivia and Emily all played for the ISCA A team, who had a superb day making it through to the finals having conceded no goals. They came up against the strength of Plymouth Marjon Hockey A team, where we saw some fantastic hockey with both teams having to work hard in both attack and defence. You will be delighted to know that the ISCA A team won and will go through to he South West Regional Championships held at Clifton College in April.

The ISCA B team also did extremely well getting through to the quarter finals before being knocked out. Bea and goalie Maddy played brilliantly in the Bs, with Bea subing onto the As in the dying moments of the final due to injury.

Its great that the hockey training that they are getting at school is allowing them to flourish in the club environment after the end of the school session and that they are becoming absolutely key team members in both school and club competitions.
