A Spiritual Connection: Clergy Assembly at Exeter Cathedral School

We at Exeter Cathedral School are truly fortunate to have such a deep and enduring relationship with Exeter Cathedral, spanning over 800 years. Our school’s location in the cathedral’s shadow provides a unique and inspiring setting for our pupils.

To strengthen this connection and foster a greater appreciation for spirituality, we have introduced Clergy Assembly this year. Each Tuesday, a member of the Cathedral clergy visits our Prep School (and soon, our Pre-Prep) to lead a special assembly.

These assemblies offer our pupils a wonderful opportunity to meet and interact with the clergy they see around the Cathedral. They also provide a valuable space for reflection and prayer, guided by a voice outside of our school community. We have been delighted to welcome Canon Cate Edmonds, Canon Chris Palmer, Canon James Mustard, and Canon Nigel Guthrie to our school so far.

Do ask your child about their latest Clergy Assembly visitor and keep an eye out for information about our upcoming Harvest Festival.
