The choristers have been keeping busy despite not being able to sing at the Cathedral, or as a group.
They have produced several hymns and psalms over Holy Week as a virtual choir which have been published on our website (links below) and social media.
Our latest project is a specially-written arrangement of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” which we hope to record in the next couple of weeks, with some of the School’s string players and ECS Vox.
The chorister’s musical education goes on with theory and music appreciation classes, as well as individual instrumental and singing lessons. We have also held the first of what we hope will be regular chorister socials, with a quiz night last Thursday.
More music to follow soon!
