Autumn Concert

Since the start of the academic year, ECS musicians have been working hard to prepare their pieces for the Autumn Concert. Our skilled soloists have been working away in quiet solitude while the bands and ensembles pulled themselves into harmony – their efforts were not in vain!

On the evening of Friday 22nd November, a hushed audience of parents, visitors and staff were enthralled by concert’s musical arrangement. Beginning with the massed choir, Handel’s Zadok the Priest set the tone for the remaining event.

Star Wars played a key theme throughout the concert with renditions of Rey’s Theme and The Force Awakens by the Senior Strings and Concert Band.

An impressive range of solos punctuated the concert, with performances from Daniel D (Violin), Thomas C (Cello), Maddie R (Harp), Natalie P (Voice), Jack A (Saxophone) and Alice H-M (French Horn).

Well done to the Music Department and all the pupils involved.
