On Thursday 12th September, the Under 9 girls had their first Hockey fixture of the new season.
They played several schools at the annual St. Peter’s Festival and really threw themselves into it. It was a gentle and fun reminder of what is involved in matches and it allowed the girls to practise their basic stick and ball skills. For three of the members of the squad, it was their first experience of game play. They did ever so well and should be commended for their efforts.
