“Walk the plank!” The Year 2 pirate day started as enthusiastically as it finished, although thankfully no one was made to actually walk the plank! We started off on a treasure hunt, deciphering a special pirate alphabet to work out clues which took us all around Hall House. Then we went over to the FT room and baked some delicious shortbread biscuits which we later decorated with skulls and crossbones. To finish off we made some (very creative) pirate ships out of cardboard, and anything else we could get our hands on!
